Believe

Over this past weekend, we were able to share and see many people who believe in something big or small. As a part of Faith Passage, we played at an event that was celebrating a vision, a dream, or the calling of the heart one year ago. That calling and belief turned into a mission to save a community and right before our eyes we have seen the transformation. The next morning, we led worship at a new church that is still in its early stages. The congregation was small but they are all believers and the pastor has started a momentum in that community that will make a difference in lives. As the weekend came to a close, we ended a God-filled weekend at our home church. Sitting in a small group last night, I was reminded that we all have dreams and a calling of the heart but we often stop there and don’t act on it. This weekend we saw cheers of excitement and tears that ran down faces of people that maybe stopped believing. Let us not stop but do what God called us to do.

In Acts 2:44 it says, “and all believers met together in one place and shared everything they had”.

And this weekend we did just that.

Why worry?

It was an awesome weekend. As I looked out into the crowd gathered on Saturday night, I was overwhelmed with all of the people that we have met along the way …people that have encouraged and supported us…all of us believing in the same mission.
